This was in Roseville? Wow, I wish I'd known. My mom grew up in that church...and way back when there was a school as well.
Peace be to you.
Wow! What a small world! We tried to spread the word as much as possible. The church members and clergy from the interfaith community sent fliers and the like. We are supposed to have more similar events in the future, when we do, I'll be sure to let you know. : )
Greetings, neighbor!
I'm actually somewhat on the opposite side of the metro area, so that could explain why I didn't know. Or simply because I was off in my own little world again. But, yes, next time please let me know.
No problem. Lol, I'm actually on the other side of the metro area as well...
I am good friends with Father Ventline and other attendees of the church so I found out from his staff and my mosque took part in the event. Since you live in Michigan, you are probably one of the few fellow Voxers who understands how unpredictable the weather can be over here. Have a nice day & peace be with you.

Well this is very nice to see. Two fellow peace makers :-)

You two have made my day.

I don't think any of my family still lives in that area, but I will ask my mom when I see her over the weekend. I have no doubt that if any do, they still go to Sacred Heart. When my mom's family moved out of Roseville when she was a kid, they started attending mass at Sacred Heart near Westborn. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Ah yes, Michigan weather. Seems to have a personality all its own. Gotta love it, eh? I'm really hoping that it starts to feel more like it should for this time of year.
